new tattoo stuff

so yea everyone knows that tattooing flowers and forming names out of things like vines and other shit like that arent realy my thing. so when lacey came to me asked me if i draw up "lacey" in some vines and add some pink flowers to it was kinda iffy but i did it anyway and to be honest im happy with the way it came out this is a picture taken right after the 2nd session. the flower that you can kind of see on the bottom wasnt realy my idea to begin with but she wanted it and i put it there i still need to add some darker tones to it but as far as everything esle goes im pretty happy with it and she loves it. when all the swelling goes down and it all heals up im gonna snag a better and bigger picture......

ill never forget this place

there is me and thor from luckys tattoo parlor, man was looking rough but not as rough as the cuuuuuuurrrrrnaaallll in the middle....if you have ever tattooed down san diego you know who that man is....thats what i liked about tattooing downtown its a pretty tight comunity and plenty of free entertainment from the local crazys haha thor was still learning how to tattoo when we too this picture in may of 2008 but man has came along way hes one bad ass tattooer now and one hell of a flash maker i remember when i sold his first peice of flash for him we put a sheet up on the wall just to see what would happen with in 1 hour a sailor came in an wanted to 2 headed swallow that thor had just painted so i tattooed them the navy guy wanted to make sure that no one esle could ever be able to get that tattoo because he liked it so much so i told him that thor would sell him that sheet of flash(it was a O.G. not a print) for 50 american dollars haha sure enough he went over the ATM and gave him 50 bucks ! thor made his first 50 dollars in the tattoo biz! congrats man! ! ! ! keep up the good work carnel C/S P/V
man o man. i will never forget working at luckys tattoo parlor in san diego.(from left to right in this picture one of my best homies in the whole world victor,cris corona,will kelly(me the fat dood with the locs haha) i learn a lot working with these guys and my boss and friend shane modica was an awesome guy to work for great tattoo shop best in san diego no doubt about it lots of history in that shoe box of tattoo shop if you dont know anything about lucky's tattoo parlor you should swing in some time and get tattooed that places is filled up of amazing paintings and flash from bass ass tattoo artists from the begining til now fuck just go in and take a good look at all the Dave Gibson flash on the walls. everytimei look at this photo it puts a smile on my face because it reminds me of what i real street shop is. just a bunch of guys who tattoo draw and paint all day and all night work, move, hustle (click the photos to view full images)
